Here is my transparent list of what's great, and what you should know. No games here.
New tires (less than 100 miles on them). Fully serviced in Feb by Land Rover Schaumburg (oil, filters, alignment, brakes). Watch Areas: 1. Dash cluster occasionally loses power to the mechanical gages (speedo, tach, etc). 2. 2nd row driver side door window doesn't actuate (no noise). 3. Headliner is sagging. 4. Front headlight on L needs replacement (or a repair - as it is cracked). Rover calls it "check side light" - which is actually the headlamp. 5. Occasional smell of exhaust in cabin while at a stoplight. Rover says it's normal, and not the exhaust. No leaks on pressure test nor on exhaust smoke test. Sharing for completeness. 6. Rear tailgate window glass needs new gasket (these are cosmetic, as you know). Again - sharing the full list. 7. Minor rust on some panels - easily seen on pictures. 8. Rock hole in L side view mirror.
